I was fortunate enough to get some attention for my song, "The Sins We Speak" and toured with acts like The Gaslight Anthem, Lucero, and Rocky Votolato to support my music. I had also played festivals, such as Austin City Limits and the Vans Warped Tour. Then, in 2008, the opportunity to involve a live band became available and Fighting at a College Level became a full rock and roll band. We spent the late months of 2009 on the road, playing mainly in the midwest and west coast, and then took December of 2009-January 2010 to record our upcoming album (due out March 16th, 2010) and continue to grow as a live band. We have been recognized by both High Plains Reader and the Minneapolis Star Tribune as one of the top bands of the Great Plains. Also, Q98 radio in Fargo, North Dakota voted us the best band in the region in 2009, which was quite an honor.We have a very fun and energetic live show. We involve the crowd in every aspect of the show and we simply create an atmosphere of positivity and fun. There are no rockstar attitudes in this band. We are simply a group of guys who enjoy spending time with new people and playing our music for anybody and everybody. We will also have a full arsenal of merchandise when we travel your way, in addition to our brand new CD.
