FREQY HOUR featuring THE JODI JEAN BAND

"Elegant, subtlety sexy and composed, Jodi sounds and looks great on stage and literally has the crowd howling from her first song on. Her voice is inviting and draws the audience to her." - Randy Freedman. Chicago Jazz Magazine

JODI JEAN hails from Wisconsin, but has spent the past 9 years living in Chicago with a one-year hiatus spent in South Korea performing with an original rock group, the B Band. Since returning to Chicago in 2005, she has been writing and performing jazz, country, rockabilly, blues and bossa nova with groups such as Rhythm Futur, Tiger Moon, Bossa Saravah and Jodi Jean and the Revenuers.

THE JODI JEAN BAND is Jodi Jean playing with some of Chicago’s finest musicians. Primarily performing original material and jazz and bossa nova standards, their sound has been described as honest, soulful, intelligent and fun.
