FIGHTING AT A COLLEGE LEVEL

Fighting at a College Level was started in 2004 as a solo acoustic project. I was fortunate enough to get some attention for my song, "The Sins We Speak" and toured with acts like The Gaslight Anthem, Lucero, and Rocky Votolato to support my music. I had also played festivals, such as Austin City Limits and the Vans Warped Tour. Then, in 2008, the opportunity to involve a live band became available and Fighting at a College Level became a full rock and roll band. We spent the late months of 2009 on the road, playing mainly in the midwest and west coast, and then took December of 2009-January 2010 to record our upcoming album (due out March 16th, 2010) and continue to grow as a live band. We have been recognized by both High Plains Reader and the Minneapolis Star Tribune as one of the top bands of the Great Plains. Also, Q98 radio in Fargo, North Dakota voted us the best band in the region in 2009, which was quite an honor.

We have a very fun and energetic live show. We involve the crowd in every aspect of the show and we simply create an atmosphere of positivity and fun. There are no rockstar attitudes in this band. We are simply a group of guys who enjoy spending time with new people and playing our music for anybody and everybody. We will also have a full arsenal of merchandise when we travel your way, in addition to our brand new CD. If it works out to perform for you, we'll need to know how many employees you have, so we can hook everybody up with a free hoodie, free t-shirt, and free CD. That is just how we do it. It's not for the money or the attention...it's for the joy of music!

THE LEATHERS

In the hip-hop musical genre seldom does one come by two men who dance around on stage in leather garb giving each other high fives and hugs. Take time now to make a place for The Leathers. Hailing from suburban parts of both Ottawa and Toronto, Canada—rappers Atherton & P Brain hit it off while attending Seneca College, taking courses on being successful independent musicians. The duo would become roommates a year later and purchased leather jackets at a vintage store nearby for $20. After realizing how cool they looked in their new attire they decided to start wearing these jackets on stage. Stage lighting made them look even cooler and all the girls swooned - The Leathers were born.

United by a tireless work ethic, The Leathers have been taking stages by the balls nonstop since February 2007. Building on the idea that two is better than one, the combined efforts of artists Atherton and P Brain typically culminate in a raunchy and theatrical performance that turns the party out every time. Their alternative antics have led them to festival showcases including CMW and NXNE, bookings on eclectic bills from punk rock to electro, shows with talented music makers SUBTLE, PROTEST THE HERO, BROTHER ALI and SAGE FRANCIS and tours with hip-hop greats PRINCE PO and CUNNIN LYNGUISTS. The duo just completed a coast to coast, 50 market tour through the US and Canada as well as two power packed featured performances at The Canadian Music Festival and now head out once again in support of the release of their self-titled debut album on March 16, 2010. ☆ Opening act(s): The Leathers, Fighting at a College Level, Arkady

With haunting vocals, lush guitars and climactic percussion all set against a dramatic ethereal electronic soundscape, GLINT, the groundbreaking new electro-art-rock act from New York City, is nothing short of compelling.

Live, the band mesmerizes with their flawless execution and transfixing performance as they create layer upon stunning layer of sound. The Deli put it well, saying "pianos and cymbals battle it out in the musical solar system of Glint's open and glimmering sound, as the vocals pull elements from Muse and a little bit of Bowie here and there."

Since the band's original formation by lead singer and songwriter Jase Blankfort and drummer Mateus Tebaldi, GLINT has evolved as a live act and studio band. Their debut release, 2008's Sound in Silence (co-produced by Nic Hard [The Bravery] and Jase Blankfort) and captivating live show have received bountiful critical praise. Billboard Magazine deemed GLINT an "air-tight and irresistible" live act and the highly influential NME raved "catch them now before they go stellar."

In support of Sound in Silence, GLINT embarked on a highly successful overseas tour in which they covered 10 countries and played 30 shows in 40 days. The band has also shared festival stages with MGMT, Black Lips and Deerhunter and has toured with The Airborne Toxic Event and Crystal Antlers.

In addition to the band's music being featured on hit TV shows like "Friday Night Lights" and "Melrose Place," the song "Freak" (from the band's upcoming EP) was spotlighted by NME as a "Download Of The Week" and the song "Damaged Goods" was an iTunes Discovery Download, receiving more than 200,000 single downloads.

GLINT will release a self-titled EP, mixed by Michael Brauer (Coldplay, Doves, My Morning Jacket) this March in conjunction with their South By Southwest Music Conference performances.

The band will spend most of 2010 on the road winning over fans and critics worldwide with their enthralling live performance.
