Pantree Owl was formed by four friends at the music school at Indiana University. Creating their own brand of experimental classical-influenced electroacoustic music, they enjoy animals and writing introspective animalic songs. Currently they are working on an EP to be released in February.

Long ago, long ago ... do you remember the time? Remember when you lived near the forest of your home and birds sang for you throughout the day? And when you left home, far, far away you lost the forest and the birds? But in your current life the little singers follow you regardless of what twists and turns your life takes. And now you've made a new better life for yourself and a bigger songbird warbles in your home, begs to enter your home and to chase away sickness and dispel sadness, if only you will invite him in. He will sing for your little son or daughter the old songs of your town, the same ones your mother used to sing to you when you were their age. Let our gramophone do that. Let it sing happy songs for you that will make you laugh or cry and elicit tears from your eyes. Let our gramophone make you feel calm and lucky once again as it used to be long ago when you first listened to the songbirds in your forsaken home.
