Map Of The Woods consists of Andy Bee and Daphid A. Andy writes the stuff and sings it, plucks some strings, and talks of zombies as though they are an impending threat to be reminded of. Daphid A. makes boom boom with sticks and stones, and possesses the power of self-liquification when startled. What would we expect to see or hear? Andy likes to bounce around a bunch because he likes the music and likes to lose it to it. Daphid struggles with his microphone addiction and loses it as well. Although it seems that we just really like making different kinds of heavy music, Daphid likes all kinds of metal and rock and stuff, and Andy pretty much likes stoner rock, power pop, and metal, thus bringing the odd mix that is Map Of The Woods. We have played out quite a bit and have had support from bands like The Buffalo Killers, Why Make Clocks, Moonman, Athens, Old Panther, Valina, Dead Larry, BullDykeRodeo and such... we're having a good time.. all the time...
