Music. The “u” is a long vowel sound, with a tint of “y” at the beginning…the “s” sounds like a “z”…short “i”…hard “c” at the end. From the Greek root mousike (techne)…”the art of the Muses.” Explaining music with words is a beautifully torturous endeavor… it resides in the spaces in-between… it stimulates emotions and reward center impulses… it’s communication (primal and complex…) it’s science and magic… it’s blind and clairvoyant… it’s a blanket of comfort… it’s random flashes of lightning… it triggers… it lingers… it soothes and heals…disturbs and angers… it helps us remember/forget/remember/forget… it calms us to sleep and keeps us awake… it’s everything human, in suffering and transcendence… it justifies our existence… for those who love, music is always with us, especially in solitude…but when you find like-minded spirits, sharing the experience is most easily described as spiritual…it’s communal ecstasy…it’s connectedness… We sincerely hope you connect with our creations…if you don’t, we offer you a very cordial “well fuck you then” in response…
